Rumor has it the cardinals chose this dude because they needed a pope to maintain consistency with John Paul for just a few years, and this few years they will determine what the next direction is for the church, i.e. they will decide if they can really handle a progressive pope from Latin America or Africa. So they chose an old, relatively frail pope who was tight with John Paul.... and everyone knows it is only interim cause he's gonna die soon. Weird.

I was just looking at MLB standings and realized that the Angels are now the Los Angeles Angels. How fucking redundant is that. For the non-espanol speakers that translates to The Angels Angels. What morons did that. Should've went back to the California Angels.
